Iceland Art.

Have you been to Iceland? I’m betting if you have, the place is etched on your eyeballs when you close your eyes. It’s like nowhere else you’re ever been.

I went on a mission to see the Northern Lights, tried twice, wasn’t successful, sadly. But I was blown away by the light. I captured it breaking out from the clouds early in the morning from the top of the Reykjavik Cathedral and in the Golden Circle, where the continents literally meet.

If your memory of Iceland isn’t captured here, then think about contacting me below and we can talk about commissions.

I had lots of fun making the artwork above. I wanted to capture the burning bright sunset so decided electrical tape would be the best for this job, then discovered nail varnish gave a great cool colour for the scene.
